But funny story with that, as there always should be a funny story to go along with my ambitious ideas/dreams. I went to this new bike shop in down town B-town called Rides. I figured I would get some good advice about something I don't know much about. And good advice I got. Turns out Joe knows a thing or two about bikes...Lauren...not so much. He asked me what type I was looking for; a road or a mountain...I thought oh, for sure a road bike, I won't be going on any mountain trails any time soon, then he asked the price range I was looking at to which he replied, "well for a good road bike you are gonna wanna spend around $1000." Then he brought me over to take a look at the road bike selection, okay I thought, this is not the type of bike I wanted, haha, it looked like a motorcylce! Turns out I did want a mountain bike. And I think I found one! After a lot of strange questions from me and even me asking to pick up the bike to see how much it weighed I was all set to with some new information, and not to mention a bike that I actually liked and think it will be perfect for me. I tell you what though, everything is always something with me...haha.
